We got this little sprinkler for the kids to play in. It comes with some ball and the frog spits them out at you. They were having a blast with it. They didn't like the sprinkler part to high, but they had fun. They eventually started getting a mouthful (and face-full) of water. They are really into this spitting thing right now. It goes something like this: Get a mouthful, go somewhere else and spit it out...I don't get it, but they seem to enjoy it, and they were watering the garden at the same time, so I won't complain. Ü
The first picture is Sterling putting the ball in the frogs mouth...the second if you look at it right, you can see it popping out by Hannah's knee.
We had a really good rain storm a few days ago...this is picture of the river running down our backyard. I'm showing this picture because the ground gets ultra saturated and the amount of rain we got, just made huge puddles everywhere...
...so, when we went for a walk this morning with the neighbor and her little boy, we decided to top at the park (it's still pretty soggy.) They played on the slides for a while, then they saw a puddle. They didn't want to get in trouble so first they just looked at it, then they touched it, and then walked around it, before long they were running through it, splashing, doing sits and all sorts of playing around. They were soaked clear through (just in time for the sun to go behind a cloud.) They were so wet, they all rode home in their "skivvies". I didn't have my camera at the park, but these are their clothes...I purposely left out the "dirty water" colored undies Ü. They had a blast, but were happy to be home in a nice warm tub. It probably wasn't warm enough for playing in the water, but they sure enjoyed themselves.
